Creative Italian cuisine is very well executed, service is friendly and attentive although not quite at the level one might expect at a high-end establishment. (Flatware removed after first course was not replaced when second course was served; waiter's presentation of menu items was a bit halting and awkward, but this did not distract from the quality of the food.) Delay between courses was acceptable, and food was piping hot when served. Not inexpensive, but excellent value for the quality. Highly recommended.

We actually drive to Florida instead of flying just so we can stop at this restaurant! They do everything right. You get the complete Italian experience - from the amazing food, wine, service, decor, to even the background music. The owner is a nice Italian gentleman who obviously wants you to have an exceptional dining experience. Bravo Marco's!! Can't wait to dine with you again!

Delightful attentive waiter, charming chef, competent maitre d' and some of the best food this side of Rome or Florence. The fennel salad with dried figs should not be missed. The risotto is something to taste again and again. But, the lemon creme brulee is incomparable - yum.

We just moved here from Italy about three months ago and Marco's is the closest thing you will get. They offer a gastronomico menu that pairs a different wine with no less than four courses. I wanted to see just how good they were, so I tried it. The food was absolutely spectacular, the wine paired perfectly and the service was exceptional. My wife ordered three courses off the menu a la carte and they were just as superb. Giordano introduced himself, spoke Italian with us and made us feel at "home". Also, I have not been anywhere in the area where I can get some of the wines, foods, or liquors they have to offer (try the Brunello, Montepulciano, and for dessert, the Limoncello, iced preferably).

I read many of the reviews and unfortunately do not agree with the negative ones. In Italy and in most larger, more sophisticated cities (sorry Maconites), a dinner experience will usually last 3 or more hours, alowing you to enjoy the evening and not feel rushed. Food takes its time to the table and it is not uncommon for there to be a half hour between entrees. If you're not used to this, then you should stay with the chain restaurants. On the other hand, if you want a fine dining experience that is as close to the real thing as you can get, then go to Marco's.

This was one of the best restaurants, and the best italian restaurant, I have ever eaten at. The food and service was exceptional and the bartender was not only friendly, but extremely gorgeous. She is worth the trip alone.
Other than this restaurant is a little on the pricey side, there is nothing else to complain about. I was 100% pleased and you will be too.
