“WWII bravery happened here”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Museum is outstanding for its size and don't miss the video or a chat with a Ranger. Over 31,000 soldiers died on Saipan and its battle turned the tide of WWII. Go remember and find out why.

“Plenty To Do”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

The staff is helpful, and there is plenty to do. There is a movie you can see, if no other tourist around all you need to do is ask and they will play it.

“A Living Memorial”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

Don't miss the exhibit hall and history display, presenting the Marianas Campaign from the U.S., Japanese, and indigenous perspectives (translations also available). Stop by the memorial for indigenous people who died as a result of the conflict, and sit under the flags at the Court of Honor and enjoy the view down Beach Rd. Great beach. Plenty of space for picnics, frisbees, soccer. Take a stroll or short jog on the pathway through the park. Small playground for the kids.

“Nice enough park, but not much to see except a war memorial flag post at the end of the park.”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Nice enough park, but not much to see except a war memorial flag post and plaques at the end of the park. There's a small building at the entrance to the park that holds some more war memorabilia and my wife and I didn't actually go in to the building, but I wouldn't imagine there's much in it as the building itself isn't that big.
