We stayed at the Century Hotel a few times prior and I must say that the hotel has made a lot of improvements. The lobby area and the rooms are much more inviting. The staff made us feel very welcomed and appreciated. Good job Century Hotel!!!

Century hotel was a very accommodating hotel. Their newly renovated rooms were pleasing and their location was ideal. Having Shirley's restaurant in the lobby was a huge convenience. I would highly recommend Century Hotel to anyone planning on visiting Saipan!
We stayed at this hotel while on our diving trip. Great customer service. They picked us up at the airport and recommend some great places to visit. Beds were a little hard but still had a great time there.
The Century Hotel is a short walk from the center of Garapan. The rooms are comfortable, but not luxurious. There is no elevator. Shirley's Coffee Shop in the lobby is open 24 hours and serves good, local food. There is a free shuttle to their sister resort, which has many more facilities and is in the center of town.
Stayed at the Century for one week in late July 2016. Our room had 2 double beds, free but slow wifi, refrigerator, and a nice bathroom. Hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff was very helpful .
Our view was of the tin metal roofs next door!! There was a balcony and sliding glass doors but the balcony was small, included the air conditioning outside unit, and the warning sign that the sliding door locked automatically behind you!! Made you wonder how many people had been stranded on their balcony!! Saipan advertises their beach and ocean activities, so to not have a water view was disheartening.
There is a popular, open 24 hour restaurant just off the lobby. So eating at anytime of the day or night was no problem and the food is good. However, I think our room on the second floor must have been close to the kitchen because on more than one night I awoke and smelled the strong odor of food!!
Yes, there is free parking, but very limited. On more than one occasion we had to park down the back street and walk around the stray dogs.
If you do not mind not having a view, the Century is a convenient hotel to stay at while on Saipan.
I have been staying at Century Hotel for 6 of the 10 times, as I visited Saipan over the last 8 years. I am very please on my recent trip August 5 to 7. The bed has a very comfortable firmness. I noticed that beds and beddings are new with high quality. The Shower are renovated, very nice and great water presssure. I have stayed in 5 star hotels but the room is as good and comfortable as Century Hotel. A little draw back is that it does not have an elevator if you have to pull a full size luggage up the stairs. However, this minor inconvenience is overshadowed by the 24hr restaurant serving excellent variety of dishes located on the first floor. And for those who like to patronise a bar for a drink or 2. will find the adjacent room from the restaurant a cosy bar that is also popular among high spirited locals. Finally I love the prize range and the physical location in the heart of down town. Let me not forget also the wonderful and friendly staff of Century Hotel.
