Clean small room, very dated but clean. King bed in room 14. Parking good right in front of room. People (staff) were very nice and helpful in spite of our several requests. Grounds are tidy and attractive. 1.3 km to town, not close, no shoulder, don't walk at night.More

My partner and I booked this accommodation just a few days before required. We were so surprised. The room was much nicer than it looked in the photos. It was extremely clean, comfortable, in a perfect setting and we could cook for ourselves as well. The owner was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. I didn’t want to leave as we were so comfortable. Thank for for our enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others

Didn’t really expect to be able to see the Glacier but had a superb view of it. Room was clean, well equipped and comfortable but Wi-fi was erratic. Also, a little way out of town to walk (a main road) although management assured us that restaurants would pick up!
This motel is just out of the village, but very quiet and located just off the highway. It is well back from the road. The place was clean and comfortable, although I have slept in a more comfortable bed. Ours was too soft. We were just here one night and it was quite adequate.
This motel is positioned a few kilometers out of Franz Josef and if you have a car this is no problem. Rooms are large although a little dated now. Separate kitchen & lounge from the bedroom with a large bathroom. This feature may not apply to all units. Views out the back of the unit was interesting while the claim of Glacier Views has changed since the Glacier has retracted somewhat.
Overall a clean & neat motel with friendly staff. Parking right in front of your unit with some part under cover.
This was a comfortable motel unit for two nights. Friendly reception. Very small kitchenette, so don't think about doing a big meal. Comfortable bed. Not much space to spread out in but a couple of seats to use.
