“Great Horses”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Even though the day was overcast and we couldn't see the mountains we really enjoyed this trek. Very friendly staff and the horses were very well behaved, (my horse phobic husband enjoyed the experience.) A nice outdoor experience that didn't cost the earth.

“Friendly horses with great scenery - 2 hrs”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

If you are contemplating horse treks then this is the one to do. It was a little overcast/foggy so it was hard to see the glacier but with the background of the mountains it was absolutely stunning. The horses were very friendly and fairly easy to control as well as the guide being very open and welcoming. We had our own tour as it a quiet period and booked through 'bookme' so had a great deal! Trekking through jungle then out onto the pebbles was very cool, although it would have been even better if the river there.
Great value adventure.

“Very exciting galloping through the rivers!”
Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

Went on a 2 hour trek with the guide and just one other tourist. We did quite quite a lot of cantering along the riverbanks. Glad I was riding with a 'western' style saddle, so I could hang on. An exhilarating experience.

“Better than expected”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Our guide Jeremy was friendly and good fun - we called to book that morning and were lucky enough to squeeze in a sunny afternoon trek. Jeremy took us through some bush/forest which was awesome - you felt like you were really trekking - and even gave us opportunities to trot if we were keen. He was very attentive and always made sure we were comfortable, picking horses that suited our riding abilities.

Pretty good value for money; great for all ages!
