Hillsfield House Bed and Breakfast Marlborough
Ranked #1 of 9 Renwick B&B and Inns

If you want to be pampered and feel like you have been whisked away to an English country cottage, then look no further. Go to Renwick, in Blenheim, and enjoy yourself at Hillsfield House. The surroundings are luxurious, you will want for nothing. The hosts, Jo & Steve, are thoroughly welcoming and bend over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and not wanting for anything. Continental breakfasts are your next treat after a good night's sleep in The Loft, which is where we stayed for our two night stay. We came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!

We recently spent 3 nights of our honeymoon at Hillsfield House. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in the Loft room. The room was spotless and beautifully furnished, in lovely surroundings. Jo and Steve were very welcoming, and it was evident that they had put in a lot of thought & effort to really make us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, as was the carrot cake & lemonade scones. We were also able to borrow bikes to tour some of the local wineries, which was really useful and avoided a long walk. All in all, a wonderful stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend to others. We stayed at Hillsfield House for a few nights while exploring the Marlborough wine region. On first arriving we were made to feel very welcome. We stayed in the courtyard room, which was like stepping into a room straight out of a house and home magazine. Very luxurious! Jo and Steve had thought of everything we might need. They were also on hand to offer advice on places to visit and good restaurants to try!

Breakfast was a real treat with the highlights being the plunger coffee and warm croissants with raspberry jam. And of course the charming view out the window of the garden and llamas!

Hillsfield House is only a few minutes out of Renwick and is in the perfect location for visiting the many wineries in the area. We were able to borrow bikes to ride to the wineries, which were not far. The ride past the vineyards was beautiful, and I imagine would be even better during the summer/autumn months.

For a relaxing stay I would highly recommend Hillsfield House.

Stayed in the Courtyard room this time. Very spacious and extremely comfortable with lots of good touches. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. Jo and Steve are very accommodating and very helpful. Hillsfield is in a very good location, ideal for the many vineyards as well as coastal roads such as Queen Charlotte Drive. Just a short distance from Picton and the ferry. Always a cookie or something in the room for when you return from your exertions. Jo and Steve really do go out of there way to ensure you enjoy your stay.

We stayed at Hillsfield House recently for 2 nights. Jo and Steve were thoughtful and helpful hosts. When we arrived back one afternoon there was some yummy carrotcake all ready for us to relax with a cuppa! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had a walk around the property and in the surrounding area. With a Vineyard just next door we were able to walk over the first afternoon to have a tasting and bring back some wine to enjoy later. We would certainly recommend this B & B and hosts as a great base for the wine area or just generally relaxing.

Me and my friend wanted to do a little girl's weekend/wine tour around the Marlborogh area. We stayed at Hillsfield House B&B which is situated in a prefect place.middle of everything we wanted to see and do. We were absolutely thrilled about this B&B. We felt we were like at home. It was perfect clean and very comfortable. The upstairs room, we stayed werebeautifully decorated and stylish. Bed was very comfortable. Our hostess Jo looked after as so well, we couldn't ask better place to be. We had everything we needed and more.yummy cookies, afternoon tea/coffee and a tasty breakfast each morning. Jo and Steve were very welcoming and very helpful with their advice about the area. We could also use their bikes for wine tour which was such a fun. We highly recommend to stay at Hillsfield House B&B and certainly will go back there.
