This is the best cafe in this small community. Located in the two-story building previously belonging to the Bank of New Zealand, the cafe offers excellent coffee and coffee-based beverages, as well as bakery goods, pasta and a select few warm dishes.

We stopped in for lunch and were so glad we did. The cheese rolls are amazing, as was the lamb butty and vege burger. Nectarine smoothies were really good too.

This was a lovely little cafe in the heart of Clyde. Lovely waitress. Cabinet food looked fabulous especially the cheese rolls with fresh ciabatta. We had a date and orange scone which was nice. Coffee was good.

This cafe was a grea start to the beginning of our rail trail experience. We came her for a snack before making our way to the track. Nice little cafe with a surprisingly large selection of snacks and drinks! Let’s hope the other food places are as good along our way!

Have been to this cafe a lot of times and finally had to review. The service is so slow, by the time we got our coffee we had eaten our food, and the cafe was not busy. Nice slices and cakes but the savory fare is either not appealing or far two big. Too many bread based items in the cabinet, how about a salad option. Board menu is ok but the breakfasts all come with horrid bread, where is the nice sour dough that the rest of the world serve. Clyde is not that back country let’s move into the 21 century
