Refurbished Restaurant
Now very clean and tidy vast improvement over previous operators , you can see into the sparkling kitchen
Good menu selection and well priced , only gripe i would have is that if you want a meal A- L- Carte Dinner and require potatoes and salad or vegetables you do have to pay for two sides so that does become a little pricey
Owners should possibly look at increasing main course prices slightly and include either a potato or salad in that , then this requires the Diner to purchase another side rather than two at present
Female staff very accomodating , although learning the ropes , but gave an air of confidence
Very restricted Wine list but staff advised this is being extended, currently only 1 brand and 5 varieties within that 1 brand

Back again next day for a well priced breakfast and coffee
I am sure with time this place will certainly be something to be reckoned with by other Tairua Dining establishments ,

Please note that the your review is for the previous business as THE PEPE WAS NOT IN EXISTENCE IN 2011...It was The Landing, different owners and staff etc.

Tairua is the gateway to the eastern side of the Coromandel peninsula - great location but it seems to lack any decent restaurants. Tairua landings seemed a good choice since it had a more diverse menu than the others - until we found out that not all items were available!

Having placed an order, the wait began . . . About an hour for meal that seemed tohave been micro-waved
