I love the lay-out of this park and the many activities it has to offer. Go prepared with your bathers and take advantage of the Water Park area, it is so worth it. I have been so many times & really have fun every time. All age groups will enjoy Dreamworld. Lots of food options & areas to stop and take a breather.

Being of retirement age I still wanted to check Dreamworld out for a later visit with grandchildren later in the year and it's pretty good.

Our visit was on a drizzly day and not at school holidays so the rides were not too busy. As a trade off though, they were not operating a peak so some rides still had queueing. In one case, this was to get enough people to run the ride.

I went on all the big rides apart from the Claw. The Buzz Saw was pretty good and the Tower of Terror II was better then the original version that I remember. The only thing I felt a wee bit squeamish after was Pandamonium.

Food is not cheap (burgers too dear for us), but this was expected.

In summary, don't be put off even if you're not of the intended age for this destination.

Reading other reviews for the same time we visited it is apparent our views were largely shared by others!!
We pre purchased our tickets which saved money but not necessarily saved time as upon opening there were only 2 entry attendant gates open, we waited in the hot sun for almost 40 minutes to get into Dreamworld.
Quite a few rides that were to open at 11am opened 15 minutes late without any notification displayed for alternate times.
After riding the log ride we viewed our photo, at the photo booth closest to the log ride, the young girl there was very friendly and explained all of the photo combinations. We decided to buy the USB option so then it was only $5 per photo to upload to the USB on rides thereafter.
Quite a disappointment that there were only 2 places to buy lunch, all very expensive & below average choices available. We had a a person in our group with dietary needs, gluten intolerant, and there was 1 pre packed salad left in the display fridge but that looked like it had been there for days with the lettuce wilted & discoloured, because of this she did not eat & could only have a drink for lunch as BYO food is not permitted.
At 3:15pm we went to the Wiggles shop to buy gifts, we were rudely greeted by an older female who told us she was closing and IF we were buying we needed to do so quickly, needless to say we left without making a purchase.
At 3:40 pm we boarded the rapid ride, upon boarding we were advised this would be our last ride as the ride was closing. Before she releases us into the rapids she asked to look this way & smile for the camera. Another photo for our already purchased USB. Approximately 5 minutes later our ride was over and at exit we went to view our photo only to met with the booth closed. We could see a female with dark hair through the clear shutter at the booth so we knocked and asked to have our photo uploaded to the USB, again we encountered complete rudeness with her telling us "you'll have to go to the Kodak shop but they probably won't find your photo". Absolutely gob smacked with her rudeness we went to the Kodak shop spoke to a male with a short ponytail and he was equally as ride telling us "how can I find it you don't have a number". We didnt know we needed a number!! He then asked us to step aside so he could serve the next person.
What a waste of $24.95, we now have a USB with 2 photos on it.
Would it make pure logical sense that if there are still people on the ride that the photo booth shuts down after the last person or group has exited the ride??
We took 2 people who had never been to Dreamworld before and we had told them how great it had been on previous trips. They have said after this experience they would never return to Dreamworld because of the disgraceful rude customer service, the big lack food availability for dietary, the premature closing time of some rides and shops.
I can't say I would return again either!!
