“overratted don't waste your time”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

this street essentially consists of cafes, ice cream shops and overpriced galleries and shops full of very bad souvenirs, it is almost impossible to find a car park and I don't recommend a visit unless you need lunch or a drink. the public toilets in this street are disgusting!

“A daytime tourist trap selling tat.”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Gallery walk is just a strip of road with a number of shops selling stuff you don't really need.

Cookoo clocks, Soap, crystals, bird boxes, fudge, wine, clothes, wind chimes and other tat make up the majority of fare on offer. There are some nice bits and bobs to furnish your house but nothing for the international traveller with limited luggage space.

There are a couple of cafes and an ice creame shop but they all shut at about 4pm and the whole place resembles a gohst town in the evening. The place reminded me of Matlock Bath in the UK. If you have been there, you will understand.

OK for a short day trip.

“It is a pleasant experience walking through it”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

One of the many attractions of Mountain Tamborine, but not the most beautiful, it was nice to walk along this road about 500 meters long.
There is a great atmosphere, this road is bordered on both sides by quaint souvenir shops, bars and cafes, antique shops and home furnishings.
I wanted to buy everything, in fact you can find some really unique items.
This in fact is the most lively point of the entire mountain.
A must to do here in Mount Tambourine.

“Nothing very exciting”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

The Gallery Walk is akin to so many touristy country area where tourists can visit to buy things. The shops cater for these wants - with many new age stores, cafes and shops with knick-knacks. There's nothing here that shouts Hinterlands or Gold Coast. Worth a visit, but don't be too excited.
