Lots of lovely shops with plenty to choose from. Yummy fudge from Granny Macs.

A beautiful little haven....some things are what you will find anywhere...but a few local arts and crafts.

The Gallery Walk is a picturesque street at Eagle Heights. Only half an hour's scenic drive from the Gold Coast, one feels as though they are in a different country, or countries. The Cuckoo-clock shop looks as if it has been airlifted from Germany. A pretty French style chateau houses a coffee shop/restaurant. A quaint English cottage sells beautiful gifts and handcrafts. There is something for everyone, including a beer distillery, antique dealer, art gallery, fudge shop and ice cream shop. Well worth a leisurely stroll.

Nowadays we pass on taking visitors to Gallery Walk; it's not so much a haven for artists as a collection of shops selling tourist tat.

Marvelous to walk at canopy level as well as ground level and see the clearly labelled trees and read other well-posted descriptions of fauna and flora of that rain forest. Wish we could stay longer!
