“Tourist tat”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

Nowadays we pass on taking visitors to Gallery Walk; it's not so much a haven for artists as a collection of shops selling tourist tat.

“Great conservation efforts”
Reviewed January 21, 2012

Marvelous to walk at canopy level as well as ground level and see the clearly labelled trees and read other well-posted descriptions of fauna and flora of that rain forest. Wish we could stay longer!

“Please no more fudge shops”
Reviewed January 20, 2012

For a long time now I have been taking a Sunday drive to Mount Tamborine, then having a devonshire tea at Gallery walk followed by a stroll along the street to visit the quaint little shops in the area. I however feel that there is no variety along this stretch of shops anymore, all you seem to come across is fudge, now its not like I dont care for fudge but when is enough, enough. It is ridiculously expensive almost a rip off. I know they cash in on the tourists up there but think of the locals that come all year long. Also had a devonshire tea up there and couldnt even eat the scones they were so stale. I like the antique shops up there and still enjoy the Mount Tamborine markets on one Sunday a month.

“Mt Tamborine Weekend”
Reviewed January 17, 2012

A terrific weekend, with lots of nice shops, rainforest walks, fresh air and beautiful scenery. All this is only a short drive from Brisbane, but far removed from the city congestion.

“Tired”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

Many of the restaurants do not offer quality food or in fact a variety of choice. The shops all sell the same things. Craft, fudge etc. It lacks nice eateries with quality and choices. I will go back as I always do, for a walk and somewhere to go.
