We tried to visit in late October, only to find the restaurant closed with no further information on their sign.

“Le Magnifique”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Two visits three years apart, with family and as a couple, both visits were great!

Today's visit on a warm Autumn day included the Le Grand Platter - generous proportions of fresh salad, sausage, olives, dried fruit, 4 serves of cheese and a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio. The service was warm, helpful and fun. A great way to enjoy the afternoon sun with a loved one.

Looking forward to the next visit. Well done again.

“the best cheese in the world”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We actually traveled to the cafe on the way through the great ocean road especially up to Timboon for this cheese. We had sampled some of La'Artisan cheese in Daylesford and heard that the cafe was in Timboon.

My lord, they have some skilled chefs in their midst for La'artisan produce the best cheese i have ever had. It is delicious!

I must admit it is pretty expensive, but the hard work and quality that goes into it kinda makes you think its worth it. I think my favourite was the mountain man.

I probably wouldn't eat in the cafe cause it was a bit too pricey to eat there but definitely pick up some of their beautiful cheeses.

Did not eat here but purchased some great cheese. The gardens surrounding the cafe/cheese outlet are wonderful.
