Absolutely loved our Father's Day lunch at Bistro Molines. We had a fantastic table on the edge of the grass looking out over the hills which was great as our 11 month old could crawl around on the grass in front of us when he finished his lunch. Fantastic food, would highly recommend

When in the area usually try and have lunch here. Great atmosphere with panoramic views. Good cellar door attached. Last time in January lunch was near perfect in all regards as were 2 previous visits. This time scallop entree overcooked, quail sensational according to son. Mains 2 ducks ordered one was great, other had not crispy skin, lamb dish had some great elements ( cutlet, sausage), but some parts extremely cold and overly rested. Still great flavour. No childrens menu but they can accommodate and daughter loves their pasta. Great wine selection with some but not overly mark up on the list. 3 desserts ordered and 4th turned up complimentary, after main comments to owner's relative on the floor and best crème brulee wife has had all year. Other desserts all sensational. Still love the restaurant and would return without hesitation.

Absolutely magnificent location overlooking the vineyards. The restaurant was quaint and very 'French Provincial' with exceptional food and service. Certainly worth the drive. Bring your credit card as quite pricey but so worth it!! Very impressive.

It’s difficult to put into words just how good this place really is. It’s so good, and so lives up to its TripAdvisor reviews, that the feeling it has all been said before, and better, almost deters me from sitting down and trying to write a review. But here goes anyway.

We turned up for lunch at Bistro Molines on a beautiful sunny day last week, expecting it to be excellent… But even so, it exceeded our expectations.

Every single aspect of our lunch experience was just perfect. A fantastic example of great food, wine, presentation, ambiance and location, all knitted together and elevated into an unforgettable dining experience by the warm, welcoming and attentive service of Sally Molines and her waiting staff. All of whom give the impression of people who love being where they are, doing what they’re doing. This was exemplified by our knowledgeable and highly engaging waiter Tom, whose informative explanations of the highlights of the menu and wine list exuded such infectious enthusiasm, we wished we were staying long enough to sample everything. His recommendations turned out to be spot-on perfect, every one of them.

Thank you Sally, Tom, Robert and everyone at Bistro Molines. Can’t wait to come back!
