Owner description: Learn all about our award winning chocolate and how it is made. Learn about harvesting, fermentation, drying and roasting. See cocoa fruit on trees growing in our gardens and taste fresh cacao fruit. You will walk through our gardens and where you will see coffee, banana and guava trees. Also a variety of tropical and medicinal plants growing on our grounds. You will have a chance to view chocolate making in progress and taste plenty of samples including our world famous famous brownies. Chocolate bars and other locally made products and artisan goods are available for purchase. We also have a festive evening tour available at a reduced fee if you join both tours. The Leyenda de Chocolate tour takes you back in time experiencing how chocolate has been made for 5,000 years ago. Ask for both tours! Beer brewed on site, coffee grown and roasted on site. Find us just up the hill from the central park on the Main Street in Mindo. Don't miss this unique experience. Look for El Quetzal!
