Antonio's has HUGE portions. If your goal is to over eat and still have food to take home, this is the place for you. There are several area restaurants with better and more authentic Portuguese food though. Disappointing meal but the place does seem to have a very loyal following.

This is a neighborhood bar and restaurant with very friendly, attentive service and really good, relatively inexpensive food. We routinely stop here on our way home from Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard. We found it, serendipitously, years ago, having left I-195 in search of food and now we plan on stopping in for lunch when we will be passing through. Best of all is the quality of the food. Meals are very generous (often enough for three or four more meals from the leftovers.) Most of the customers are locals who all know the servers and each other so it is a warm, friendly place to spend an hour or so. There is a bar but not much activity there at lunchtime.

Two of our group had the ribs...tasty but not what they were expecting. The fried fish and shrimp Mozambique were delicious, even had enough of the shrimp dish for another meal. Lunch came with a huge basket of Portuguese bread as well.

The service was excellent here, even on a busy day. Our waitress was very accommodating to our needs.
