Description: Brick is a Napoletana pizzeria. We strive to replicate the type of pizza served in Naples, Italy. Our dough is made with '00' Caputo flour, local water, sea salt, and our own sour dough starter, simple! Our sauce only uses DOP San Marzano tomatoes and a pinch of sea salt to bring out the unique flavor of these classic Italian gems. We hand stretch our own mozzarella daily from local curd (Shy Brothers in Westport, MA check them out!). In addition to pizza we offer fresh salads, some appetizers, calzones, and flatbread sandwiches that we bake off fresh every morning.

“Best pizza around!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

I am a frequent visitor to Brick. I have tried several of their creations and have never been disappointed. The waitstaff are very friendly and always take great care of us.

The décor is so cool. They play old 40's type music and it just adds to the ambience. If this place was closer to my house I would be eating there at least twice a week!

The pizza doesn't take very long to cook so even if the place looks packed head on in! Everyone there always is in a great mood(probably because they are eating fantastic pizza)!

I can't recommend any pizza in particular since they are all wonderful. It just depends on what type of mood you are in and what looks good. Don't be afraid to try them all!

“Excellent Food after 3 months of travelling arround States”

Very good Pizzas, seems real italian. Very good service of waitress. Elevated prices but normal for historic and touristic place. Should offer real italian coffee as they do in the corner coffee shop.

“Best Napolitan pizza outside of Italy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

We had heard many favorable reports about Brick and have been trying to get there for many months but with so many good restaurants emerging in New Bedford we did not make it there until today. In short, we wish we had gone sooner! The pizza is delicious- we were there for lunch and shared a pizza- half artichoke, olive, goat cheese and mozzarella and half pepperoni & salami. Of any pizza we have had in the US this was the most like the pizza we had in Naples the last time we were in Italy. The ingredients were high quality and the crust was thin and chewy and crisp all in one pie. We will most definitely return there, probably often. Oh, and I neglected to mention that our server was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. A must stop when visiting New Bedford.

“Worth the Trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

A great fan of thin-crust pizza. So I had a "prove me wrong" attitude going into Napoletano style at Bricks. A very pleasant experience, starting with friendly service and great food. The four of us initially ordered two pizzas 1) arugula/proscuito half, funghi/garlic half 2) pesto/chicken half, onions/chicken/ricotta half. First slice into indulgence, we looked at each other and agreed that we needed more. We addtionaly ordered a chicken/pesto/mushroom calzone. Then ended up ordering also the Nutello pizza and the reheated shell cannoli.

Bad news. We ended up with a $60 bill (after tips) at a pizza place. Good news. We spent $60 at a pizza place and walked out happy spending it!

Medium sized gourmet brick oven pizza's made fresh to oder & cut into 6 pieces...conveinient for us since there were 6 of us. We ordered up a variety of tasty interestingly described pies from the menu & then let the sampling begin...Ahhh..bondaza!
