I highly recommend staying here for a special occasion! I stayed here for my honeymoon and had an amazing, unforgettable experience. Although my husband and I don’t typically stay at such high end luxury resorts on our usual trips, we decided to splurge for our honeymoon, and we both felt it was totally worth it!

The resort grounds and hotel interior are beautiful. The service is excellent, everyone from the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is very conveniently located, right along the beachfront, with easy access to the Wailea beach path, and neighboring resorts if you’re planning to dine at nearby restaurants in the neighboring resorts. If you want to sit out at the beach, the hotel staff will set up chairs with towels and umbrellas. I also highly recommend the adult serenity pool, the view from here is spectacular, and the hotel staff serves you drinks, it is such a relaxing experience.

The breakfast buffet, which we added on to our hotel package, was also good and convenient. I enjoyed getting made to order foods like omelets and pancakes on a daily basis.

We were also lucky to get offered an upgrade to a very nice suite with a great ocean view, at a pretty good deal. This made the stay even more unforgettable. The suites are very large and beautiful, and the lanai is huge, we enjoyed relaxing and even eating on the lanai.

There were also other little touches, like surprises in our room from the hotel staff, that made our stay here even more memorable. There’s even a photo ambassador available, someone you can schedule a time to meet with, who will take a quick 5 minute session of photos of you for free on your cell phone. (And the photos turned out great!)

There’s also a hotel app you can download, which is very convenient, I used this multiple times to communicate basic questions with the hotel front desk and concierge. I always received quick and helpful replies.

If you’re still reading this review, and are still contemplating staying here, if it is within your budget, go ahead and book your stay here! You will be sure to have a very memorable and enjoyable stay.

Alohaoceantravel_kat, and thank you for your thorough review - we are proud that you chose us for your honeymoon and that we exceeded your expectations.

Thank you for mentioning our app - it has become a great tool to communicate with our team. In fact, the app is now so popular we had to bring on extra staff to manage the volume. Glad you liked it!

We look forward to welcoming you back soon, perhaps on your first anniversary . . .

Warm regards,

Mark

Our Four Seasons experience began with high expectations that correlated to the high room rates. Check in was a disappointment. Our room wasnt ready on time, yet we didnt have our luggage so relaxing by the pool wasnt a great option. Plus when we thought we would have a drink by the Serenity Pool, it was like Spring break at CoCo Beach, loud and crowded and we were informed there were no chairs available. We could get on a waiting list for a chair and lineup the next morning at 6:30 am for our best chance of getting a pool chair the next day. What??
This is not what we expected from a Four Seasons resort.
We went back to the lobby to wait and we were really bummed we had picked the wrong hotel. The assistant manager, Harry, came over and was very nice and apologetic. He sincerely offered his assistance with anything during our stay and we felt better about everything.
Our room had a nice view and the Club floor was just awesome.
The staff at the Four Seasons were all the nicest people on the planet.
Snorkeling was fantastic right from the hotel beach.
There is a path right in front of the hotel for beautiful beachfront walks.
Would I return to this hotel, probably not but more because I like to be a little more secluded and peaceful when I am in Hawaii and this just wasnt going to happen here.
The service and luxury of the surrounding however will always be a good memory.

Room tip: the club floor. The food options are incredible. You dont need to leave the 8th floor ; the views, food and service are fantastic

Aloha MaryKay, and thank you for sharing your honest feedback. My sincere apologies for the inconveniences you encountered on check in, but I'm glad to hear that Henry was able to set things right.

Sounds as if you were here at the peak family season, when the serenity pool does become very busy. The peak family season is about 12 weeks out of the year - spring break, summer and Christmas/New Year's week. The remaining 40 or so weeks the resort is a lot more serene and it is easier to find that special secluded spot you craved.

Apologies that your room was not ready on arrival either. We do have an early arrival/late departure suite where you can store your backpack or handbags in a personal locker, plus a shower and relaxation area (all complimentary). My apologies if this offer was not made clear to you while you waited

Please consider coming back in our non-family season! I would be happy to personally assist. Our service is second to none and I would hate for you to experience less than what we have to offer.

Warm regards,

Mark

We recently stayed at the Four Season (October). I can not say enough good things about our stay. The beach was beautiful. The snorkeling right there at the beach was phenominal! I saw sea turtles, many different fish and octopus!

Aloha kellyvenable and thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay!

Sounds as if you had quite an enjoyable snorkeling experience. To see an octopus is unusual, and our friends at turtle town just around the bend love interacting with our human guests. Did you go out on the outrigger canoe? That's pretty awesome as well.

Mahalo, we look forward to welcoming you back soon . . .
