“Only place To stay on Maui!”
Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

I have stayed at this property 7 times over the past 5 years. We have traversed the whole islands many times, and Wailea is truly the "sunny side" Of the island. Four Seasons capitalizes on all of the sun with beautiful pools, wonderful poolside service and unlimited ocean activities. They have it all at your fingertips. I can't imagine visiting Maui and staying anywhere else. They do it right!
The rooms are always spacious and well appointed. The little touches make a difference- fresh orchids, chilled water, slippers and robes. My husband was not feeling well one evening and when I called room service For dinner, they sent him up chicken and noodle soup and crackers, Free of charge! I was blown away! They mean it when they say "whatever it takes".
You pay more for the Four Seasons experience, but I promise, it's worth every penny!

Best resort ever! Great service, great grounds and amenities. Get to the serenity pool early to reserve a seat. Has free scuba lessons in the pool. We were there for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to an ocean view suite.

Spent an awesome week at the Four Seasons Wailea and was really, really impressed. Great rooms (complimentary upgrade to junior suite was sweet - and our kids also got a complementary complimentary upgrade from partial ocean to full ocean). Great grounds. Hotel is large but it never felt crowded. The staff is amazing - so friendly, and their ability to remember who you are is truly impressive. Breakfast buffet (though pricey) was great. Only minor complaint - cardo equipment is outdoors, so unless you enjoy working out in adverse conditions (dead air and high humidity), it is not fun. Weight room, on the other hand, is well equipped and air conditions. Overall, a spectacular experience.

Can't say enough great things about this resort. I was a little nervous about our teens having enough to do here, but sunning on the beach, jumping waves, swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, tennis, billiards and shuffleboard kept all of us plenty busy. The service at the pools, on the beach and in the lounge was spectacular. Poolside service included regular refilling of ice water, and complimentary fruit and popsicle distribution. : ) Snorkeling equipmemt and sun screen were also complimentary. All of this, and absolutely beautiful grounds to walk and admire from your balcony. We're not usually big fans of on-property restaurants, but Duo far exceeded our expectations with respect to food, setting and service (Thanks Brad!) and the poolside food, though a little on the expensive side was also quite tasty. The concierges did a wonderful job of helping us find unique places off property to eat (special thanks to Mimi!) Finally, we all really enjoyed the two evenings we spent watching sunset in the lounge. (Special thanks to our server Cooper who was extremely attentive!).

Room Tip: It is worth the extra $ to secure a prime ocean view room - we spent many hours sitting on our balco...

The four seasons maui is in a magnificent location on Wailea beach Maui. The setting is so picturesque and the hotel itself is stunning. The staff are very accommodating and the service is of an excellent standard. My complaint centers around the fact that you have to battle to do anything, get a cabana, get into breakfast. Unless one gets up at dawn getting a spot by the pool is impossible. A 30 minute wait for breakfast when you pay $600 plus a night is pretty poor. I'm happy to stay in a large hotel but you expect that they will have the facilities to cater for the number of guests they allow to stay. Otherwise limit the time one can have a spot for and police those who save it and go.

We stayed for a week. Everything is first rate. The only drawbacks are the prices ($5 for one can of diet coke). In addition, there are birds everywhere. You cannot even eat breakfast without being deluged by swarms of birds. Really have they heard of putting up strings by the restaurant so the birds don't ruin your meal. That being said I can't say anything else negative about this resort. Staff is amazing, room is huge and clean. Would come back again.

This is the ideal place to go for a romantic holiday. The resort is beautiful, the rooms very well done. There is great beach access, with snorkeling a short walk away. The restaurants are excellent too, particularly Spago, and the morning brunch. The service is very good as well, everyone is SO helpful and accommodating. Definitely expensive, but no more than any other top 5-star hotel in Maui, and I feel that it is worth the money.
