Had the privilege of staying here for a week. The most wonderful spot. The walking path/running path along the beach is so great, ran everyday, and walked it everyday. All the beaches along here are so beautiful to spend a afternoon at. The hotel..... 5 star all the way. The people make this place.
Very pricey, could have a lower price point place for small meals, and why does breakfast have to be always (at any hotel soo expensive?) that said they do have "snorkels",along the path that you can get fruit, yogurt and good muffins. Coffe service in the rooms , and have a light breakfast on your patio. Best place for dinner is italatian resturant, inside bar is also great for smaller dinners.
Will save up and for sure go back

Room Tip: Partial ocean view was great, could see the water and the lovely garden to look out at

We recently traveled to Maui for the first time with our 1-year old infant and the staff was top-notch in taking care of our every need. They even gave our little one a nice welcome package including gummy bears that Mommy and Daddy helped her eat!

We arrived on January 1st. Back celebrating our belated 5 year anniversary. We were also married at the Four Seasons, so we were excited to get back! It was an amazing stay! We were greated with an upgrade to an oceanview room and a bottle of champagne in the room. What a pleasant surprise!

Everything was perfect. Two new things we experienced this trip were the free outrigger canoe program they offer and the adults only serenity pool. Both were wonderful! The breakfast buffet is still great and we enjoyed that each morning.

Of course we wished we had stayed longer, so we do plan to return again very soon!

We stayed on the Club Level of the Four Seasons for 10 nights earlier this month and were amazed and pampered by the most accommodating staff anywhere. While it is more expensive to stay on the 8th floor, we feel it is totally worth it. A delicious variety of food offerings are put out 4 times a day. We ate breakfast on one of the lounge lanais every morning, enjoyed afternoon tea a couple of days, almost always had cocktails and fantastic hors d'ouvres in the evening and splurged on the occasional late-night desserts and cordials. One could make a case for not ever needing to eat anywhere else! (But we did have dinner both on and off property several nights). The lounge staff is incredible and made all of our reservations for restaurants, shows and activities. Housekeeping was excellent and met every request (extra hangers, nail polish remover, extra after-sun lotion, etc.). The rooms are lovely - we had an oceanview room - and some of the quietest we've ever stayed in. Loved the beds, bedding and comfy lanai chairs! Enjoyed dinner at Ferrarro's and had lunch "beachside" most days. The pool staff and Rowena with her welcomed treats and Aloha spirit are the best. We used the fitness center every day which is well-maintained and the staff is great bringing you towels and water as you work out in paradise. Had a fabulous hot stone massage in the spa which is also well-maintained. If I had any complaint it would be that L'Occitane products are no longer in the rooms. That was a bit disappointing. The Four Seasons is not inexpensive by any means, but we will always find a way to stay here on our many future trips to Maui!

We only stayed one night at this hotel because of it being quite pricey but it was such an awesome place! Even though we just stayed the one night they allowed us to "hang out" most of the following day since we were unable to check into our condo we rented. They were so accomodating letting us use the facilities they offer and the staff all treat you with such welcoming hospitality! The service is the unbelievably great! The rooms are so classy and comfortable; the location is beautiful-- right on the beach; the pool is awesome too. The buffet breakfast was really good-- an awesome selection and tastey! Our favorite meal was the chicken nachos served pool-side! (so yummy!) I had a 'hot stone massage' at the spa which was spectacular! I think I'll be saving up just to stay here again!

This was our first time staying at a Four Seasons Hotel and we loved it. We only stayed over for 2 nights but it was wonderful. We stayed in an oceanview suite and the view and the suite were amazing. The room was large and very comfortable. We loved the pool and the beach because you are treated to amazing service. They bring water and treats to you throughout the day. My favorite was the mint drink in the lobby - it was so refreshing. The overall service at the hotel was great and I would love to stay here again! It was such a relaxing vacation - we did not want to go home!

We have been to the Four Seasons Wailea twice in the past 3 years. It's an extraordinary property, beautiful grounds and pool area, delicious food whether in the restaurants, poolside or room service, comfortable rooms and attentive staff. The only negative I can say is that both times (most recently Nov.2012) halfway thru our stay, the families with young children arrived and the resort turned into a Holiday Inn type atmosphere. There is only 1 small adult pool that is beautiful but if you aren't out there at 0700 you have no chance of getting a chair. There is a kids only pool but unfortunately most families apparently want to be at the main pool, and it has been taken over by kids yelling, splashing, jumping into the pool and throwing footballs, etc. despite the signs that prohibit these activities. There is also a jacuzzi on each end of the pool that says unaccompanied children are not allowed in without their parents yet it is like a small sandbox atmosphere with kids (no parents) hanging from every inch of the area. We can't even enjoy the pool when this is the situation. My husband and I talked to the pool staff about enforcing the posted rules regarding children and although they said they would, they didn't. We also noticed the restaurants filled up with kids running around and playing games on their IPads with the volume turned up loud. For the price you pay to stay at this excellent hotel, I wish they would provide separate areas for families with out of control kids because it really takes away from what should be a peaceful and serene setting to relax and enjoy. It's a shame so many parents don't teach their children how to behave in a luxury hotel setting.
