Ferraro's oceanfront location and ambiance are tough to beat. Great menu and service. We went to Ferraro's on 5/31/14 with another couple and we went back, as we often do, on our last night in Maui on 6/6. Both meals were excellent; fish, meat & pasta alike. The food and ambiance are a 6 on a scale of 5. The wine list is a 3 ... a very sparse selection of anything other than Italian wines ... and the Italian wine selection is expensive for what's offered. No BYO/corkage available here or anywhere else among the higher end restaurants in Wailea. We took advantage of a lightly advertised special offer on our 2nd visit ... get seated at or after 8pm and wine is discounted by 50%.
So the rating gets knocked down to a 4 (woulda done 4.5 if available) ... but we'll go back at least once and probably twice on our next visit to Maui.
