“Three out of three”
Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

We at there three times and had three outstanding meals. The custom of coming to ask you whether you enjoy your meal is a little intrusive, and when I asked whether the fish should be cold, they immediately took this as a criticism and the manager appeared! It wasnt a complaint just a question, but none the less it shows you the care and sensitivity of the staff.

Desserts are interesting, especially those that mix salt and ice cream. I don't like it.

“Worst meal, worst service we had on Maui”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Worst fish I have had in a long time, cold, dry, and miserable.

Add to that service that was just down right horrible. I wanted wine before dinner, so we ordered a bottle. My wife ordered a cocktail and was done with it when salads arrive. The waiter had drop the bottle off unopened and finally opened it after the salads. He poured 4 glasses and the bottle was gone so we asked for another bottle. He never returned after others delivered our main course to ask how was everything - I would have sent my back. My wife's was lackluster and small portion or I would have ate some of hers. We had to ask for the second bottle of wine as we finished dinner and could finally capture his attention from the several tables of two he was being over attentive too.
My guess is he was guaranteed an automatic tip at our table, but had to earn it at the other tables parties of two.

They give you lighted menus which is a nice touch - but then again it is too dark to see your food.

Restaurants like this need to get rid of automatic tips to keep their servers on their toes.

Best meals, outside dining, go a little early and have a drink at the bar. Very good wine list and surprisingly good value

“Best Fine Dining on Maui”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

If you are only going to eat at one fine dining restaurant while on Maui, this is it. Yes, this is located in a hotel, the Four Seasons, but there is no restaurant on Maui that matches its freshness, creativity of flavors, food combinations, view, and ambience. This is a great romantic location, but it also suits families well. It is pricey but there is no better dining experience on Maui. We have about tried them all.
