This gem is tucked away and a bit difficult to find. It is worth the hunt. We were a party of four and had prime rib, meatloaf and two of us had the pumpkin seed crusted mahi mahi. The food was great! The meatloaf came out a bit cool and our waiter brought out another piece. Drinks were yummy--mai tai, martini, sangria. Casual feel--it overlooks a tennis club. They seemed to be understaffed when we were there. Our waiter was hopping the entire night! We will go back.

Thank socforward

We visited Joes' twice during our three week stay in Wailea. The first time service and food was excellent, the second it was no where near the same. The service was rushed like the wanted you out as fast as possible in order to sit others waiting at the door. Our dinner arrived before our appys were even finished. There was one bartender for the entire restaurant and he looked like he was going to collapse. We were staying at the Grand Champions therefore it was within walking distance to our place however we would rather go to Matteo's, same distance, much better food and excellent service. Also, way more reasonably priced.

My meal and my wife's was nice and hot and tasted delicious. The sunset view and cocktails were also great. The only downfall is that this place is in a horrible spot. The tiny parking lot that is marked for them was coned off and where ever you park you have a relatively steep and long walk to get there compared to any other normal restaurant with parking near their establishment. I predict out of business within two years unless they change locations.

We eagerly returned to Joe's tonight and brought my sister with us. It was sooo good. Can't imagine anyone not raving about this place. The prime rib is excellent and since it is a 16oz portion my sister and I shared it and there was more than enough for both of us. We also shared there chocolate bread pudding for dessert and it was great. Husband had meat loaf and he found it delectable. They have a golf cart to transport you from their parking lot as it is a bit of a hike if you are not totally physically fit. Nice touch! Great wait service as well. Can't wait until we return!!! Don't pass on eating at this fine restaurant!

Enjoyed all our meals (2adults, 3 children). Generous portions. Good service. It is an 'early' place. Was almost empty by 8.30pm on a Saturday night. Reserve a table if possible. We just walked from the Grand Wailea which was easy. Would definitely go back for the delicious food.
