We have dined at Joe's many times and over the years have naturally had the occasional blip. However, any necessary fixes have been made courteously and promptly. The atmosphere is unique, hawaiiana meets the court-side grill which is interesting and comfortable. Since there were just two of us we chose to sit at the bar and enjoyed this experience even more. Once we made our decisions the service was quick, but not rushed and the bar tender serving us had a good banter. The caesar salad with quinoa was a good addition to the menu, interesting and tasty. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and not dried out as end cuts can often be. The little golf cart that is available to transport you to and from the parking lot is fun touch. Definitely one of the more consistent and reliable venues in Wailea without the pretense or puffery.

Went in a group of 6 and would not recommend the Prime Rib. Everyone else had fish which was excellent, but the prime rib was full of grizzle and very tough. They did give us 50% off of the Prime Rib, but it's not what I would have expected from a Gannon restaurant.

We try to dine here at least once every trip to Maui. It never fails to impress us...last night's Pumpkin Crusted Mahi Mahi with honey chipotle sauce was excellent!!!!....add to this the fact that our server took the time to discuss our wine choice and explain the preparation of the dish to us...and that Beverly Ganon stopped by to make sure we had enough light to read the menu...made for a very delightful dinner and an outstanding evening!!!

Just got back from maui and ate twice at Joe's it was that good. Would highly recomend it to anyone staying in the Wailea area, just a short stroll fron the Grand, marriott is close and the 4 Seasons and fairmont have shuttles. Absolutely outstanding food 4 in our party 1 meatloaf( mine) maybe the best I have ever had( sorry mom and wife) 1 had ribs 2 had fish, got a chance to taste all the other dishes and the were just as good as mine. Great atmosphere great service a " casual" but upscale setting
We were a walk in after getting a recomendation from the hotel, the place was full and had reservations, but they found a way within 10 minutes to seat us-- GREAT SERVICE and EMPLOYEES WITH GREAT ATTITUDES
Will defintely go back next time we are in maui
