Ulua beach is a wonderful sand beach. There are facilities located at the end of the parking lot, which is about the middle of the beach. In the middle of the beach is also very nice coral outcropping that goes out around 100 yards. It is good for beginners because you can start to see fish and nice coral in fairly shallow water and the entry is sand. You can follow to corral fairly deep out and see some great turtles and the coral formations allow you to zig zag back and forth across a great under water scape. You should get it on the south end of the coral, like most beaches in this area. The north end tends to be a bit less protected and the coral growth isn't as rich.
