My favorite "overall" beach for swimming, paddle boarding and snorkeling. My son is 7 and did very well with paddle boarding off this beach. Long sand stretch, great for sunset, (can go to 5 palms rest. on north end of beach and eat for sunset which is nice), lava outcroppings at each end for snorkeling are good. Entrance for south end is a bit hard to find with fairly small parking lot. Convenience store on the north end. Best part - it is beautiful!!!

Great sand and surf. Easy parking and access. You can enter the water anywhere on this mile long beach where you don't see lava outcropping, which is about 95% of the beach.

The whole length of Keawakapu is gorgeous, but we discovered a new favorite snorkeling spot at the south end of this beach. Gorgeous, spread out reef that's super easy to swim...and tons of fish, turtles..even saw manta rays!

Interesting to watch stand-up paddleboarding, boogie boarding, swimming and snorkeling. Closse access to great restaurants such as Sarento's and 5 Palms.

This beach has a nice-sized parking lot close to the beach. Showers available. I am an avid snorkeler and often have to go alone. This is my favorite place to go because there are always people close, but it is never too crowded. There is an easy entrance to the snorkeling area- lots of coral jutting out at south end of the beach. I have seen green sea turtles, coronet fish, humuhumu, butterfly fish and many other varieties. Beautiful beach.....
