Sat at the bar for happy hour. Ambience was a little strange but did have a nice view to the waterfall outside. The Mai Tai's were excellent. Really amazing. The food was hit or miss. Had the sliders which were good but very small. Then had a spicy fried chicken dish. The dish was horrible. Had no spice at all, was greasy, and tasted like flour. Really unappealing. Told the bartender who apologized but I guess they don't take their food or customers seriously as the dish remained on our bill. Would probably not be back unless just for a drink sadly. Could be so much more!!

We ate dinner at Amasia one night while staying at Wailea. The food was good with the Short Ribs being outstanding. Service in generalwas very good and attentive as it is expected, however there seems to be no real ambience in the restaurant or at least is not what you expect to find at this type of restaurant very plain.

Very good food and service but not as good as his restaurant in Honolulu. The service was good but not outstanding which you anticipate at a restaurant of this quality and price. The food was very good but not at the level of other fine dining extablishments and, once again, it does not match the Honolulu restaurant also run and operated by Alan Wong.

This was my first time eating in a restaurant such as this. The food presentation was nice and there were so many different flavors with each serving. My favorite part of dinner had to be the sake! Very unique taste! Service was excellent!

I wasn't very impressed with the ambiance or the waitstaff. The food WAS amazing though. I don't think I would return given the chance.
