We spent 10 fabulous nights in this awesome condo!

Everything was very well appointed. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, even some cooking spices, to-go containers, and baggies. The free phone, and internet made planning dinner reservations and days out very easy as well. The bedrooms were very spacious and had lots of closet space, with very comfortable linens. Having 2 bathrooms was very convenient for us (2 couples). We especially enjoyed the beach accessories (chairs, towels, mats, umbrella, boogie boards) and added an extra cooler to the collection.

It was great to have the washer and dryer, just to throw loads of towels in during our stay. However if you plan on doing more than a couple loads, throw some laundry soap
in your luggage, as the amount provided was only enough for 2-3 loads (and you don't want to have to buy a large box)

We also enjoyed breakfast on the lanai every morning, and had several ‘happy hours’ out there watching the sunset and the humpbacks.

It’s about a 4 minute drive to the closest beach, and we actually enjoyed driving since the beauty of being in Wailea is going and trying all the different amazing beaches the South has to offer. It was an easy walk to the various Wailea Restaurants & Hotels, and the Shops of Wailea.

The BBQ areas were nice, and we had no problem walking down to grill our freshly caught fish! The pools and grounds were great too, just to relax in the water or enjoy a hot tub before bed.

All in all we had a great stay, and Lorraine (the owners' local rep) was responsive & helpful too when we needed her assistance.

We spent 13 nights at the Grand Champion Villas #60. Our condo was right near the pool/bbq and our parking spot was right near the condo so we didn't have to haul things very far.

The condo itself was spacious, clean and well stocked. We had all of the cooking necessities, towels, and supplies that we needed. After a trip to Costco, it was like home. There is a TV in both bedrooms and in the living room. The view of Molokini and the ocean from the balcony was beautiful, as were the sunsets.

The complex was beautiful and well manicured. We rented through vrbo and it worked out fabulous. We travelled with 2 other families and our condos were all close together.

We enjoyed walking to the Shops of Wailea for shopping and to go to one of the many restaurants. One of our favourite beaches, Wailea beach was a 5 minute drive to the parking lot. Another great beach, Big Beach, is only a 10 minute drive.

Reasonable place to stay. Loved the convenience of kitchen, 2 baths and nearby eating places. The beach however is a bit more than 1/2 mile, too long a walk in Sunny weather with small children.

The condos are showing their age. The mattresses were too old and need to be replaced. TV's are old style CRT, not what I was expecting. We had a pleasant stay without any major issues but would stay another facility if we go back to Maui.

We stayed in 2 brm condo (#156) with partial ocean view and golf view - nice size bedrooms, pretty large living room, fully equipped kitchen.
The resort is not right on the ocean - 5 min drive to the beach with plenty of free parking and showers. When we got to the beach on our first day - we finally realized that we arrived in Paradise!!!!
The resort is very conveniently located, close to shopping, restaurants, attractions.
Will stay again.

Fiance and I traveled here for a wedding at the nearby Grand Wailea. The location was perfect -- less than a quarter of a mile away from shops, restaurants, and all of the hotels & beaches that Wailea has to offer. The check-in center was located at the nearby shopping mall -- it easy & painless. Employees were welcoming & responded quickly when our room keys initially didn't work. We selected a gardenview during the reservations process, but were delighted to find we had a view of the ocean. The condo was stocked with everything we could have needed -- from dishes to snorkel gear and even board games. Kitchen was clean. Bathrooms were spotless & modern. We stayed only 3 nights, but this place would've been more than comfortable for a week's stay or even longer. Great bargain for families. The best part was watching the whales off of our balcony every morning!

The Grand Champions is a beautiful area and our Condo was well decorated and had great views- we felt safe from predators while staying there - pools were clean and the yards well maintained. The only predators we encountered were “bed bugs”. This put a damper on our vacation for the last 3 days. They had been there the whole time and we thought the bites on a few of our family member’s bodies were from sand mites – we were sadly mistaken and after visiting a physician and finding some in the beds, headboards and closets we were able to confirm our worst nightmare.
The condo owners were deeply embarrassed by the situation and acted quickly to fumigate our belongings, remove the suspected beds and bedding from the condo and proceeded to decontaminate the complete suite. We then after being decontaminated (ourselves included) were put up in a hotel for the remaining day and 1/2 at their cost.
It can happen as this year Maui has quite the infestation of Bed Bugs haunting them, no matter what hotel you may choose - even the best of the best I'm sure. Be sure to check your box springs, mattresses (piping on the mattresses) - under the bed skirts and the head boards as they love to wait for a warm body to hop in. They are quite large and have a fierce bite.

Would we stay there again? - Not sure I can say yes at this point in time. It ruined our vacation and added stress to a beautiful holiday in such a beautiful place. Until I knew that all of the suites were fumigated properly and professionally on a regular basis as the neighbours condo attached to you in the same unit could also be encountering the same issues and they can stay between the walls and move onto the next unit. They can live up to a year without feeding.

Since we have returned home we have heard the same stories from others (other well known and respected hotels) that unfortunately came home with the "little critters" and it was too late for them. We were lucky we had good and responsible condo owners that acted quickly -

“It could happen easily, even to the best”
