Ekahi villige is a great place to stay while in Maui. The grounds are spectacular and the proximity to an amazing beach is wonderful. It is in a good location near a variety of restaurants and never too far from a supermarket or even a Starbucks. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for about a week while touring Maui. My parents used to live in Makawao (upcountry) and from having been to Maui many times before I knew I wanted to be in Wailea, not the Kaanapali resort area. Just personal preference--I like south Maui better and Wailea in particular. It's close to all of the things we wanted to do--snorkeling out of Maalea, Haleakala and upcountry, Paia and Hookipa beach etc. We stayed in unit 54C rented through mauicondoowners.com. The unit had a gorgeous view of the water and despite the grumbling from other postings, the walk to beach/pool is only about 2-3 minutes. If you need to be closer to the beach there are closer condos, but we liked the view from our place. It was a FULLY equipped condo, down to shampoo/dish and laundry soap. All beach towels, chairs, umbrella and boogie boards/sand toys are there for your use. We needed nothing else. The condo was very well appointed and clean and well priced for a two bedroom ocean view in this area. The owner was responsive and easy to deal with. I think this resort (which has gorgeous landscaping throughout and sits on beautiful Keawakepu beach) is one of the best deals in the area. We will definitely be back!

Ekahi Village is a wonderful place to stay but be careful what unit you get. We stayed in 12B last year and it was fantastic. We thought this unit would be similar, but it is truly nasty and needs to not be rented out until it can be renovated. Chipped, moldy, smelly, etc. sad because it has an awesome ocean view. We were moved quickly to another unit which was wonderful. Management wants to make you happy and they came through! Beautiful grounds and perfect location in Wailea.

Room Tip: Make sure you review which unit you are getting before you book. Some units are much further from the beach than others.

This facility has it all; pool next to beach, BBQ, full kitchen, chairs, cooler, etc. It's a little hike up and down the hill to pool/beach, but the exercise is good for you after soaking up the sun all day. Close to other great beaches, snorkeling, Lahaina, etc. Grounds are exceptionally beautiful. Ants are a problem these days; make sure housekeeping gives you plastic bags to keep all food in; do NOT leave anything on counters, or they will get into it.

My friends and I stayed in unit 20H, and we all had a fantastic experience. The facilities were exactly what we needed, and whoever outfitted the place put a lot of time and consideration into supplying the unit with everything a vacationer could need. From tupperware to a blender to a salad spinner in the kitchen, laundry detergent for the laundry, beach chairs, extra pillows, a gas grill - you name it! The condo has a fantastic view overlooking the ocean in the distance, and a luscious garden view right outside the lanais. We had three lanais (one for each bedroom, plus one off the living room), a renovated kitchen, and an unlimited supply of clean towels which were switched out daily. We had what looked like an older condo complete with a popcorn ceiling and blinds from many years ago, but even these features didn't detract from the experience. We were right next to a pool (though the 2 minute walk to the beachside pool was worth the larger and nicer pool), and two minutes walking distance from the beach. Best of all, it was very quiet - unlike many other places. One could not ask for a more ideal location or amenities. I would certainly visit and stay here again.

Room Tip: Condos on the south side of the property close to the beach are ideal.
