This was a real treat/retreat for us and you all pampered us so well! Of course, I wish the price was lower but Hawaii is expensive by definition! Perhaps send a little plate of fruit every day rather than just first day would be great.
This is a beautiful luxury hotel: the landscaping is luscious and the accommodations superb: upscale furnishings and bath; charming bedroom. But our breakfasts were disappointing and thus a 4+ rating. It is also an adults only property and thus draws honeymooners and "babymooners" who dominate the guests. The staff is excellent. We particularly appreciated the outdoor staff who very most attentive.
Stellar views, stunning sunsets and impressive suites! Pool was beautiful and lovely areas to relax and unwind. Dinner in the main dining room was good but we discovered that everything was on “island time” meaning very slow service! Worth the wait as it was delicious. Room service does not begin until 7:30, so if you want an early breakfast you’re in trouble. The housekeeping staff was especially kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.
From the professionalism of the staff, the spacious room with comfortable bed, delicious food from breakfast to dinner, extremely helpful concierge service, spectacular views of the ocean from the fitness center and our lanai, cleanliness of the property, beautiful landscapes, drop offs/pickups with the cool Tesla X models, and peacefulness of the adults only ambience, my husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely!! I booked this trip for my birthday and this is truly one of the best places I’ve been to in my lifetime. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable experience! Beautiful property but poorly located. Beach too far away and beach side service closes at 4:00, same as check in time. Pool bar closes at 5:00 each night, there’s no nightlife here whatsoever if you just want a casual poolside or beachside evening. Not everyone wants to get dressed up for a fancy dinner at a restaurant each evening and that is your only option here. It is a beautiful property however and the view from our room was amazing.
