Located right on the ocean front at the Marriot in Wailea overlooking Molokini island. Artisans set up shop on the lawn to buy cool souvenirs as well as professional photographers to take pictures of you and your family on the ocean front and right when the sun is setting. Open bar! Multiple lines so you can keep on drinking! Get your drinks early because they tend to water them down towards the end.

Food is all you can eat but they put the food away so if you plan on getting seconds get them quick! They break down before the sun sets. Dessert table is divine! Plenty to choose from You get a free LEI with this Luau (guys get fish hooks and girls get flower leis). Best part is they involved the crowd and get the kids and parents to come up and dance on stage. Not many Luaus do that anymore but as embarrassed as people are up there they are having fun and they have a great story to tell when they get home.

The costumes were gorgeous and the presentation was phenomenal! They really tell you the history of Maui and it's legends and they act out the parts as well. The fire dancer at the end was probably the best I've ever seen!

The Marriott Wailea is the beautiful setting of this outdoor luau! Parking is free in their self-service garage (ticket will be validated when you pick up your meal ticket onsite). I disagree with other reviews that the food was average. Every dish was appetizing, tasty, and plentiful. The show was fantastic with great entertainment, wonderful music, and talented dancers. This is a Polynesian review - which means that the Samoan fire dance is part of the show. (There are other luaus on the island that don't have the fire dance - and don't disclose this either). A word of advice - splurge for the additional $10 per head and get priority seating which is the first row of tables. How many times are you going to Maui and experiencing a luau? If you are going to pay upwards of $100 per person for this experience - why not add another $10 and make it a fabulous evening !?!?! Even with premium seating, show up early so that you get the front and center table like we did. It was amazing!! I should mention that their main website does not spot you with instant reservations on line - so it's better to call and ask if they have any premium seating. If not, they should refer you to a ticket broker who may have the tickets (we used Expedia's Local Expert and they were wonderful).

Nice Luau, but was hampered by a rather large rain cloud. Really enjoyed the story told and food choices were very good. Loved the Pina Coladas :)

We were married in the morning at secret cove and then took 18 of our guests to te au moana luau at night. Amazing night. Everyone had an awesome time. The staff were very friendly. The food was awesome. I am so glad we picked this luau the show was so good. The sunset in the background of the show was a great bad drop. We took a cab from hale kamaole condos at beach 3 for 9$. Everyone enjoyed the amazing show and fire show at the end. My husband and I were able to have our first dance during the wedding song where they opened the floor for everyone to dance. The booths set up before the luau had beautiful things to buy. Thank you for a great night!

I recently went to the luau at the Marriott in Wailea. The dancing and fire-sword dancing were great, the food was good, although the best thing was definitely the barbequed pig, but I found the MCs rather trite and tedious. All in all, it was a rather expensive "taste" of Hawaiian culture.
