“Sit outside and enjoy”

The music was so loud and overwhelming when we walked into this amazing restaurant. We were thrilled when the hostess led us outside to dine. This place is absolutely incredible. Come here for excellence in service and quality of food. High five to the chef, owner, manager of this place. The food here is truly in a league of it's own! Don't forget to sit outside..

“It's okay”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We came here for dinner and there were seven of us. The service was slow the entire night but we entertained ourselves with Maui stories. The food was mediocre and did not meet our expectations. I had the gnocchi and my husband got the fish special. They were both edible but nothing special. Others felt the same way.

Those who went for lunch also commented on the slow service and okay food. Considering how there are so many good restaurants out there, I'd recommend people to seek other restaurants.

“Excellent local find... but being a MERRIMAN not a surprise!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We live less than a mile away from this newer restaurant in Wailea Gateway. It always looked gorgeous, but somehow that location was not grabbing me as the first place I would like to eat- as I always prefer an oceanview...

We were greeted very pleasantly in the midst of happy hour, and seated immediately by a friendly hostess, greeted again promptly by a 'floater' server who took our drink order, then our waiter arrived with a smile and friendly hello...why do I belabor the friendly-ness?? because you can hardly ever get treated well in high season anywhere in this area of Maui from about 4pm-9pm- it is such a zoo, that most hostesses brush you off, servers are harried, and I have more than once been accused of faking a reservation because they never wrote my name down... sooo.... what a BREATH of FRESH AIR this lovely place was for us!

The drinks were delicious, and the pour of alcohol was very nice. Not drenched and tasting like fuel, but really well done so you taste the liquor and not just sugary watered down sweet like so many will do for happy hour specials.

We have eaten at their flagship property overlooking Kapalua Bay, and it is just as friendly and welcoming in a grander way- but both are so tasteful and enjoyable spaces.

Try it here! We are the strictest of critics, and we had a WONDERFUL time! Well needed break after a long day shooting on the ocean :)

The food was just delicious, service was great. Get a table on the terrace to cut down the noise a bit.

“Long wait, but worth it.”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We ate here twice on our recent one week vacation in Wailea. The waits both time were quite long, but it was holiday week and the food was great. A lively spot, and an interesting menu. The drinks were a bit pricy, but all in all a very enjoyable dining experience. A nice walk from the Grand Wailea.
