Pita Paradise was an impulse. I happened to be sending a postcard at the little shopping mall and saw this place across the carpark. It was one of the best meals I had in Maui. Fresh salads, delicious pita bread, tender lamb, all with warm and friendly service. Who could ask for more?

Second week in Maui and looking for a place to eat ... didn't find it in the books but remembered it from a previous year. That time we had a less than pleasant experience at the MonkeyPod Restaurant and noticed this place on the way out. WHat a pleasant surprise. Salads, entrees, drinks and dessert for under $100. Service was excellent and our meals were tasty and well prepared (kebob's and Pasta Bolognese). Dont miss the Marscapone Cheesecake with Lilikoi sauce for dessert. The wine selection is very good and reasonably priced. We will be back before we leave the island.

- and you'll want to, as well. Fine attention to detail, from service to the food itself. Very friendly staff. The ahi tartare appetizer was delicious; they allowed us to switch the chips for soft pita and I was in heaven. Possibly the best pita I've had. We came back for dinner the next day and I had perfect lamb kabobs. We were too stuffed for dessert.

We weren't really expecting gourmet-level food, we were just looking for comfort food and were very pleasantly surprised. A must visit.

Great food at reasonable prices. I prefer the casual location at Kalama Village, but there is a fancier location in Wailea on Ike Drive.

Our family was looking for a quick, casual meal. We found good reviews for this restaurant, and based on the name "Pita Paradise" , we were expecting something very casual, perhaps even without table service. To our surprise, we arrived to find a upscale restaurant, reservations recommended. Luckily, they were able to find a table for us, and although it was a much different dining experience than expected, we all enjoyed our meal. Our favourites were the fresh fish catch of the day and the pita pizza appetizer. Later, we learned that the original Pita Paradise is a super casual, order at the counter restaurant in Kihei. We tried it out as well. Completely different experience, but also good.
