If you want a fabulous Mai Tai go to the bar at Ko and ask for Nick to make you a Mai Tai. My friend Sandie and I had one made the first night we stayed at the Kea Lani. It was amazing. Dinner was great too. We had the chef's tasting menu with wine. Wonderful. The service was great. Next day we tried Mai Tai's at different places and couldn't even finish them. Next night Nick was back. Wow, what a difference, his are delicious, the best!Carol McLeod

The service was great in this lounge, and they have an extensive cocktail menu. We plan to go back to try the restaurant, as the food menu looked great.

Located at the Fairmont Ko is supposed to be the hotel's signature restaurant though I couldn't understand why. Service is just OK, there's no view and the decor is horrible. And the food average. In the same hotel you'll find Nick's Fish market which beats Ko in every single category.

Very pricy - $15 for drinks at lunch. Ordered salads - very good but with WCA card discount they add almost a 19% tip automatically.

We visited this restaurant on two occasions, lunch and dinner. Both were quite good, and the choices of local ingredients combined with multicultural influences makes this an enjoyable evening. I don't think anyone would be disappointed, as all levels of culinary demands are met. This restaurant is the flagship for the Fairmont Kea Lani property and the quality goes along with the brand of the hotel. I think the only think I could be dissatisfied with was the fact that our room menu listed a local grass fed steak option for an entrée, but we were told in the restaurant this item was removed from the menu (it was something we were looking forward to trying). We have read and heard of people complaining about the prices, but I think the restaurant is priced in par with the hotel it is in and in general with the pricing of fine dining in Maui.

Aloha! We're thrilled that you had such a wonderful experience while dining at Kō for both lunch and dinner! It’s wonderful that you enjoyed Kō's plantation-era inspired cuisine with local ingredients and that it met your expectations. We truly apologize for the miscommunication in the in-suite menu and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Mahalo and we hope to see you again soon!
