Ekahi Village is an older established complex and the grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Walking through the complex is like being in a tropical garden. It is also located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui. On top of that, the main pool (located right near the beach) is wonderful, and kept at a perfect swimming temperature! These are some of the reasons my family and I keep returning to this wonderful complex.
Our visit in April was the first time we stayed in condo 50A. The owner of the condo was absolutely wonderful to work with and so communicative. We also loved how well the kitchen was stocked (microwave, toaster, blender, lots of plates/cups/mugs, really everything we needed). This condo is also on the ground floor, so no stairs to lug suitcases and groceries is also a bonus. The views from the lanai are breathtaking, you can see the ocean, and we had some amazing sunsets there. The only 'downside' is that it is a bit of a hike down to the beach, but only about 5-10 minutes. Headed to the beach is downhill, but going back uphill at the end of the day was sometimes tough (but that being said I was 6 months pregnant at the time).
Overall we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this complex and condo.
We had a great stay at this condo. The condo is very private and comfortable. Felt like I had all I needed as if I was at home. It looked like they recently put new carpet in and updated the property. Very nice! The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. They had beach chairs we could use and the views of the ocean were incredible! Took lots of photos of the sun setting. We were close to the big name hotels, golf, restaurants and shopping which we took advantage of all!
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a getaway in Maui!
We loved the condominium, great location with lovely garden and sunset views, equipped with beach boards and chairs and everything you need to enjoy the beach as well as cook, etc. Really a great place to stay!
This one bedroom condo is located in the beautiful condo village of Ekahi in Wailea, Maui. My wife and I have stayed there twice now and have really enjoyed our time in 50A.
Wailea is outrageously expensive, but if you want a place for 2 (not suitable for families), then this location is affordable and close to all amenities. There are great restaurants located within 5 minutes either direction. Sarentos on the Beach, Ferraros at the Four Seasons, Morimoto at Andaz and plenty of restaurnats in the Wailea Shops. Oh, and don't forget to visit MonkeyPod for their Mai Tai's and cakes!
Ground floor unit with lanai (patio) and beautiful views of the ocean, flowering gardens and plenty of birds and green space
Comfortable layout with 2 bathrooms and one Master bedroom
Great beach with gentle surf most of the time and an easy walk either direction to hotels, restaurants. If you don't like the beach, there is a nice pool (no hot tub) at beach level.
Unit comes with boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler.
Located near the top of the complex about a five minute walk up the greenway belt from the beach. Not that far, but if you are carrying a cooler, chairs, towels and more, it can be a bit of a hike.
Unit is nice but is does need updates. Unit is currently for sale and I think renovations will be in the hands of any new owner. Kitchen is small and cupboards have that musty old smell (not great). Carpet and furniture is dated but acceptable.
Air conditioner is a wall unit in the living room which doesn't really give cool air to the master bedroom. Also, it is a tad noisy. There are fans in each room, but the master bedroom fan has a hum noise.
Overall, if you don't like staying in hotels and paying exorbitant prices, plus you enjoy making your own meals, this unit is very comfortable.
Very nice unit. The location was great. Comfortable king size bed. Several pools with easy access to the beach from the large pool with the cabana. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We would rent there again.
We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! Ekahi Village is our favorite place to stay in Maui, and this condo was perfect for our family. The Ekahi village is beautiful and peaceful - you feel like you’re in a tropical garden. The lawn right in front of our unit felt very private, and our kids loved playing there. Keawakapu beach is a pleasant 5 minute walk through the beautiful grounds. Keawakapu beach is almost a mile long with beautiful soft sand and gentle waves, perfect for walking, swimming, bogie boarding, and snorkeling – one of our favorite beaches in South Maui. From there you can take a stroll and explore the neighboring beaches – Mokapu, Ulua and Wailea. The location of Ekahi village is absolutely perfect – conveniently located in the center of South Maui on one of the best beaches, yet away from the crowds and high density resorts.
The unit was very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, including some beach toys and boogie boards. The owner is super easy to work with, very responsive and accommodated our request for early check in and late check out which we really appreciate! We would absolutely love to return and stay here again in the future!

Wailea is a little slice of Heaven. There are views galore from the lanai and sunsets like you wouldn’t believe. The beach accessible through the property has beautiful soft sand, with gentle waves for bodysurfing and swimming. We even say some turtles while snorkeling. The promenade made for enjoyable morning strolls along the neighboring beaches. The condo was very clean, which is a top propriety for my husband and me, and nicely appointed with everything you could possible expect. And the owners were super easy to work with! You won’t be disappointed.
