We came to Udom Thai to try it since our favorite Thai restaurant was closed for two weeks. It is never a good idea to visit a new place under these circumstances; we were longing for delicious Thai food. We tried the Thai basil fried rice and the Panang curry. They were both OK, but nothing remarkable. If you like spicy food, I suspect you need to beg to be hurt by the cook through chili; I ordered Thai hot and got mild plus at best. I love that there are Thai options in the neighborhood and we enjoyed trying the food at Udom Thai.
