“Great setting...”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

The setting is lovely - the yacht club. The food is very mediocre. The service is good. I've only ever dined there with groups, so I'm not certain what options exist for individual travelers. But I wouldn't go for the food.

“Absolutely gorgeous view”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

by this time, I had eaten just about all the shredded raw cabbage, tomatoes and cucumber slices that I could, so my impressions of the food are really rather skimpy. For sure we had fish, and for sure I ate it with gusto - for whatever that is worth. However, the view from this club - both the dining room (we were there for lunch) and from the piers were breathtaking.

“Nobody home”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We went here late afternoon after hearing about the mini golf, swimming pool and bumper boats in the guide book. We paid 1 CUC to go in and then started to look for fun stuff to do. It was all a bit weird. The pool was closed and there was no mini golf to be found. We went to get our included drink from the ticket. After climbing the stairs round the back we found a deserted bar overlooking the bay. The woman told us we had to go downstairs. Another empty bar with a few people cleaning the tables. The barman handed us 2 cans out of the fridge - no glasses or anything. The building itself is quite grand and you could imagine it being a very glamourous place to be back in the 1920s. The place is a bit run down now and it's a bit odd drinking your lemonade/coffee in such an eerily deserted place. As good a place as any to watch the sunset though.
