My husband and I stayed at the Ben Miller and had an amazing weekend. Part of our package included a brunch buffet on the Sunday morning. We booked for a 9am seating which was the beginning of the buffet. The breakfast selections were amazing and very fresh. They even custom made an eggs benedict for my vegetarian husband. The only turn off was that at 9am they already had late lunch/dinner options out as well. There was a slab of prime beef, pasta, seafood and hearty salads. It just didn't seem appealing that this food was out at 9am and would remain out until lunch time came around. But awesome breakfast!

Very disappointing experience. 5 of us booked 3 rooms at the Inn over Christmas. Our friends were also celebrating a wedding anniversary with a special friend who had flown into Canada to celebrate with them. We joined them on Christmas Eve until Boxing Day,,
While Christmas Eve dinner was fine the next two days were less than satisfactory. On Christmas Day we booked for the buffet and our experience left a lot to be desired. At first no eggs then finally a dish of eggs Benedict which were fine. Minimal amount of fruit and a lot of hyper coloured cakes which no one touched! Also some awful turkey roll which looked very unappetizing!
We returned to our rooms and thought that at least Christmas dinner would be better. Alas! It was exactly the same buffet as the one at brunch! They seem to have reheated thuuneaten items!
Worse yet we were placed in an awful restaurant annex
oand not our usual table and had an awkward table configuration. Surely after staying 3 nights and spending $$$ they could have seated us at our usual round table?
We all looked at one another in dismay and could not believe that a place advertised as a premier inn in Ontario could offer such execrable food! Warmed over food which was never any good. We compared this with buffets offered by our golf club in London and lamented how awful it was.
Our final terrible dining experience was breakfast on Boxing Day. We found 3 covered dishes all with quite awful food. We had fruit juice (sadly lacking on the previous day) and had some sugar cereals but we had to insist on freshly cooked eggs which we then paired with the awful fatty bacon in the servers. There was no breakfast menu and unless we had insisted we would have been charged $$ for really awful food!
Overall this was not a good experience. We stayed in Gledhill which is about a 5 minute walk from the main building and because I was afraid of the icy walking conditions because of a dislocated shoulder we had to drive to the min buikding for every meal. Nice room but very inconvenient for meals,
One of our group booked 2 spa sessions. She had reflexology and said her foot was badly bruised next day. The Indian head massage was an equally disastrous experience,
Overall I have to say we were very disappointed, I stayed at the inn many years ago and was really looking forward to the experience but it was absolutely not what any of us expected, we are all quite sophisticated travellers and when we book accommodation that advertises itself as a premier inn of ontario I think we are entitled to expect a better standard of very basic cuisine
On the positive side I would like to commend the staff who were all very pleasant and really helpful. It is not their fault that decisions were made by management to shortchange customers by offering horrible buffets.
While the ambience is very nice someone really needs to take charge in making more responsible decisions about the cuisine,
We intend to go elsewhere next year,

Had the $29 - 3 course dinner. Wished they had more selection for the entree. Did enjoy the meal (Black Bean soup, penne, poached pear).
Absolutely loved the Sunday Brunch. Fresh made omelettes and crepes. Good selection of breakfast and non-breakfast foods. Nice salad and dessert table too.
