Just at the south end of town (maybe a 3 min car ride) this old lighthouse become museum is worth the visit. It is in a very scenic setting, and on a clear day has nice views from the top. The top is accessed by a very steep flight of stairs, but it makes you think of the nights the light keep was scrambling up to warm ships for safe passage into the habour. They have an old working (hand powered) fog horn that is great for kids to try (and loud!). The museum is free (donations taken to support the museum and the staff) and there is a small gift store with some interesting local items.
