This lovely small hotel exceeded all our expectations. Staff were extremely helpful to us, going above and beyond when we had an unexpected health issue to deal with. Room was adequate -- not quite boutique hotel quality but akin to US business no-frills hotel. The common areas including a spectacular dining balcony overlooking the hills leading down to the Mediterranean make the stay worth it. Excellent breakfast buffet (several local artisinal cheeses, fancy olives, ample baked goods and spreads, along with choices of beverage including espresso machine) eaten on this balcony makes for a truly wonderful experience.

Location location location.
The great view from the porch of the restaurant, a walk away from the center and the great service of this family magical hotel turn our vecetion to a perfect one.
We loved this boutique hotel and we are defiantly coming back in our next visit in the north of ISRAEL even just to seat in the restaurant for good meal and enjoy the view.
Highly recommended.

So besides the picture expectations, everything else here is kind of ok, which is probably fine when you consider value for money, since the price is ok too.
All, except for the accessibility here, which is poor. Maney stairs, no elevator or a other solution if yo're with a baby like we are, and hard time for the elders.

My guests stayed at Beit Maimon for 3 nights. The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, with a good view. The rooms are very basic. small blankets, the double bed is actually two single beds put together (religious reasons, but not everyone is religious right?). There was no safe in the room which isn't convenient.
This is the first Hotel I have seen that doesn't offer free Wifi at the lobby. You actually have to pay for it... Even McDonald's has free Wifi!

to make a long story short,
do not recommend this place. you can get a much better deal for what you're paying.
You can stay in beautiful Zimmer's (local B&B) that are spread around the town of Zichron-Yaakov.

Stayed here a couple of nights. The hotel is fine, don't expect five star you are not paying five star prices!
Small but very clean and newly renovated bathroom, only one person can fir in it at a time!
Be warned there are lots of steps up to the hotel entrance but the hotel staff carried our bags from the street to our room. Room hint as there is no lift take a lower floor,
The breakfast included in the room rate is good, on weekdays a freshly cooked meal is offered.
It is not within easy walking distance to anywhere so you need your own transport.

This was the most expensive hotel for my trip to Israel and the most disappointing. It is not within walking distance of Zikhron Ya'acov, you pay for WiFi (only time I had to do this in Israel), not only have you steps up to reception but there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage up to your room and to top if off they do not serve dry white wine by the glass - only the bottle.

The breakfast like all other breakfasts in Israel was excellent and the views were wonderful. Dinner was OK but the hummus had too much oil on it and you had to pay for the bread to go with it - how do you eat hummus if you don't have bread, with a fork??
