My wife and I stayed 3 delightful nights at the Historic Oak Hill Inn Bed & Breakfast. Owners/Inkeepers Doug and Don make outstanding hosts. This is their home not one run by absentee owners. The antibellum home is beautiful and the tour of it by Doug is very fascinating. Each room contained fabulous antique treasures many of which were inherited from his beautiful aunt (you must see the photo) who owned the Stasny sheet music company. It was a pleasure to relax with a glass (or two) of wine on the patio and front porch by the gas lamps and Greek revival columns. Don created the fabulous breakfasts that all the reviews rave about. They were absolutely sumptuous. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate. A refrigerator by the rear entrance was used to provide bottled water, soft drinks, ice, ice containers, glasses and a wine opener for use by guests. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were always on the nearby table. Doug was especially helpful in recommending excellent restaurants and historic places to visit. The Castle at Dunleith was our favorite restaurant; you must have their lump crab meat and shrimp salad for lunch. Restaurant 1818 was an excellent choice also. The visit passed so quickly even though this was our fourth visit to the area and first time we stayed at the Oak Hill Inn. When we return, this is the only place we will stay.

Gorgeously beautiful historic house & garden, cozy rooms, an excellent breakfast and last but not least, the fascinating tour of the house made this the best stay of our tour of hte south.

My sister and I wanted to take our Mom to Natchez to tour the wonderful homes that are there. I searched for hours on the internet and concluded that Oak Hill Inn was the place for us to stay. When we arrived we were greeted by Doug and were amazed at the beautiful setting for Oak Hill Inn. It is so elegant while feeling just like home. The grounds are precisely groomed and the back patio area with the fountain draws you into the home. The history of the home is so intriguing and Doug and Don will continue to make it a special place to visit. The Queen's room is over the top and my Mother felt so special being able to have that room. The extra large room upstairs was perfect for me and my sister. Breakfast is a gourmet event each day. The home is located in the heart of the historical district and so convenient to everything we wanted to do. Doug helped with recommendations for resturants and which houses to see to keep us on track. It was the perfect place for our stay! We highly recommend the Oak Hill Inn.

Oak Hill truly represents the ultimate B&B experience. The personal attention to detail in accommodations, ambiance, and breakfast dining is first class. These owners have gone to great length to preserve the character of this home and its grounds. The antiques are exquisite. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay.
