“Second time around”

We traveled from Atlanta to Natchez to once again stay at the Oak HIll Inn. It is so lovely and well kept. Doug and Don couldn't be any nicer or accomodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic and beautifully served on lovely china, silver, and crystal. Really, really special. The biscuits alone are truly worth the stay. I wasn't the least bit surprised to see they have been voted one of the top bed and breakfasts in the country. I'm sure we will make it there again. I can hardly wait!

Josie O'B.

I have stayed in many b&b's across the USA, and nothing compares to the Oak Hill Inn.
The location is great in beautiful Natchez Ms. with many things to do. Doug and Don are superb
hostess's. The Inn is beautifully decorated to the period. The bedrooms are very comfortable
and the breakfast is to die for.I highly recommend making a trip here.

Our one-night stay in late April was truly amazing. Unfortunately for owners Don and Doug, a late cancellation left them with us as their only guests, so we felt like royalty in this beautiful historic home. Doug's private tour of the home with his great historic references rounded out the perfect overnight stay. The house itself, the furnishings, the amazing breakfast, the gorgeous patio and fountain with Spanish moss hanging from the trees - doesn't get any better than that!

This is an amazing value for anyone visiting Natchez. We look forward to a return in the future.

Elizabeth Thomas
Traveled 3600 miles across the USA via the South. Had fabulous food and stayed in great places. This was the BEST! Elegant, Don and Doug, charming and Hospitible. Their tour of their home was better than any of the antibellum tours we went on, really, so interesting. Exciting breakfast , gourmet, plated beautifully. They got it ALL right. Memorable,

Room Tip: Downstairs suite is spacious and cozy, elegant and my husband could work at the desk, he loved that.

Everything about our stay here exceeded our expectations, from the hospitality of owners Doug and Don, the fabulous gourmet breakfast (and freshly baked cookies on arrival), the beautifully restored house and lovely gardens (and friendly cats), and the amazing antique collection in the home.
One night was definitely not enough time at this lovely place, and we hope to return in the future.

I have always wanted to do a B&B in an antebellum home. This one was exceptional. Doug is a great host who is also a fantastic chef and my husband & I had two of the best breakfasts ever. Not only were they great tasting but presented beautifully. The tour of the home and its fabulous antiques was fascinating and done with obvious pride in the antiques as well as the pride of ownership and hard work in restoring this beautiful home. The bedroom and bath were very comfortable and accommodating. We found nothing lacking in this B&B and more than we expected! This was my 72nd birthday present from my husband and one I will treasure.

Room Tip: We needed the main floor bedroom as the ones above require climbing stairs.
