We passed through Natchez unexpectedly and were fortunate to book the cottage. I wouldn't suggest leaving it to fate as we did - book beforehand, we were lucky and in the quiet season. Joe was a most obliging and knowledgable host with an amazing recall of local history, much of which involved his own family.
The house was beautifully restored and the cottage was a delight. Breakfast the next day was delicious and we really enjoyed the opportunity to sit down over breakfast and talk to Joe. He is a very kind host who makes you feel very welcome.
Natchez is a beautiful city and we were pleased our trip took us through it.
