Don't go to Natchez and not visit The King's Tavern! A great atmosphere for great food and drinks. We loved the history surrounding the building and we loved the casual dining experience. The service was spot on and the food was amazing!

Wanting to experience part of the historical culture in Natchez, MS we found Kings Tavern. This wonderful historical structure dating back to the 1700s served up delicious comfort food and wonderful ambiance. You felt like you had stepped back in time. We recommend the chicken or crawfish potpie cooked in mini cast iron skillets topped w/a yummy biscuit crust. The side salad w/house dressing was a great pairing. Be you explore the structure before you leave. There are 2 floors above with a gift shop. You just feel the history & the staff was friendly, as well as, informative. Enjoy!

We made our first trip to the Kong’s Tavern today and it won’t be our last. As soon as we walked in I knew this was my type of historical landmark restaurant/pub. We ordered the hummus and the meat and cheese platter. (I forgot the name!) I ordered the crawfish pie and the rest of family had various flatbread entrees. We will return!

This place is located in the oldest building in Natchez - there’s even a historical marker for it. It’s owned by the same people who run the distillery (conveniently next door). The place is small with family style seating but the atmosphere is wonderful and the bartenders are excellent. We tried the oysters and they weren’t bad, but not sure if I would order again.

Have been there plenty of times with my wife & friends (we visit Natchez often from South Louisiana). We decided to take our young kids this time. They loved the idea of dining in a "haunted house". Stopped in for Saturday lunch. The thunderstorm added to the spooky setting. Good food & service---better drinks.
