“Nice lunch in relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

This is in the grounds of one of the big mansions. We were not looking for anything extremely smart or expensive, and this was just right: a professional but friendly service, very nice food and a relaxed atmosphere.

“Superb!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

From the hot biscuits upon being seated through salads, crab cakes, and unrivaled short ribs, this was a truly wonderful meal. Service was very attentive and April's southern hospitality and charm were delightful. The only possible negative of our visit was not having room to try what appeared to be an incredible selection of desserts.

“Wonderfully delicious food”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

The Castle is a place of delectable delights. We began with a berry spinach salad. The spinach, goat cheese, blackberries, and pecans made a quite pretty and colorful presentation. The light vinegrette dressing complemented the flavors of entire salad. My husband ordered pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts. I ate sea bass with risotto and roasted root vegetables. Both entrees had us savoring each bite. For dessert a lovely chocolate box filled with truffles, strawberries, and blueberries arrived. Once again our senses found delight!

“Delicious food in an elegant setting”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

We had three meals - two breakfasts and one dinner - at the Castle during our recent stay in Natchez. All were delicious. The breakfasts were buffet style, with all of the items that you'd expect on a Southern table: scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, grits, fruit, potatoes, and other items that I'm probably forgetting. The dinner was a fine-dining delight, with a menu featuring culinary delights to tempt any palate: prime rib, lamb, seafood, and more. With dinner I had probably the best asparagus that I've ever tasted in my life.

“Premier plus”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

The castle should make foodies happy. I had very interesting fried green tomatoes, duck and a bread pudding. My wife had a salad and pork tenderloin. All with subtle touches of taste. Service from our waiter Seth was extraordinary. A great spot.
