“Nice tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Enjoyed the tour. The guide was very good. Just seemed weird to tour a home that was never finished.

“Antebellum history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2012

The was a great tour. Tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Out of all of the homes we toured, I somehow felt the soul of this home. It seemed to be very sad. The grounds were beautiful and very appropriate. My favorite.

“Top Antebellum Attraction in Natchez”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

We experience an antebellum home as it was at the beginning of the Civil War. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and the home, which features elements that were designed to move light and air throughout the home that were ahead of their day. The ground floor featured period furnishings, so there was something that interested my engineering and my wife's decore tastes. We also enjoyed the gift shop.

“What an interesting place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

The Docent (Caretaker?) was very nice, very informative and answered more questions from my friends two daughters than you can think up in a week. What a beautiful place. Leaving we happened to see an old, private cemetary just off the road. When we stopped to look at it (from this side, not into it) we noticed one of the graves had fallen in. Scared the girls and we moms, of course, had to tell them it was a haunted cemetary. What fun! LOL

“The Tour was Just OK but the Property is Remarkable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

The property is amazing. I wish they could finish it....at least virtually. Wouldn't that be cool? Longwood is pricey but worth the expense. I was a little disappointed in the tour but we visited on a holiday weekend so beggars can't be choosers.
