My husband and I were traveling through Natchez on our way back to Dallas, and really wanted to finish our vacation on a relaxed note! The Burn, along with Nell, Mary and The Greens provided us with one of the loveliest weekends ever. The accommodations were comfortable beyond compare, the grounds and home just breathtaking. Breakfast was truly Southern and the tour fascinating. We definitely will return next year, for a longer stay! My compliments, just above and beyond.

The staff was warm and friendly. We were given a tour of the home by our hostess who was very knowledgeable. Breakfast was great, especially the breakfast bread pudding.
Our first experience in an antebellum home. Would definitely come back.

We had visited this magnificent 1834-house on a spring pilgrimage tour in 2010 and came back to relax during two nights just after tropical storm Isaac. This is a very welcoming place and Ms. Nell and her team will do everything to make you feel at home. The room was exquisite with a southern accent, and everything was clean and impeccable. Breakfast is superb, served in a beautifully furnished dining-room. The grits, the bread-pudding were delicious, everything is home-made. We much enjoyed the beautifully landscaped swimming pool, the gorgeous gardens and terraces: Isaac had visited two days earlier but you could not tell! Do not miss the very exclusive tour of the house, offered to the guests, with a complimentary glass of wine. One of our top experiences in a B&B, we will come back! A great place when visiting Natchez and to relax, getting the best the South can offer.

I recently went to Natchez for a family get together and we stayed at The Burn for several days. It was a true indulgence in complete comfort that only southerners seem to be able to pull off. Miss Nell and her crew lovingly looked after our every need. It was my first American B and B experience. I hate to try another because it will be hard to match the Burn. Thank you, Elizabeth

This is the third year we have stayed in a Natchez B&B. My husband chose this B&B for me because I wanted a pool to relax by while he attended a tournament. By far it has been the best choice. Our accommodations were exactly the way the website presented them. Beautiful, private, and quiet. The house has a great history and is well maintained.Evening house tour begins with wine and greeting other guests. The pool was clean, sparkling and refreshing in the sweltering July heat and relaxing in the late night. We brought our cooler poolside and just chilled. Wine is sold by the bottle onsite and there is even a refrigerator outside the room in which to keep beverages and snacks during the stay.Breakfasts were fabulous. We will stay here again!

Room Tip: Douglas room was great location. One drawback was squeaky bed frame which woke us up every time one of us turned over. :((( Did not sleep well. Another negative is placement of t.v. Hard to watch while in bed, but not a big deal to us. Room is beautiful and clean.
