“A wonderful view and interesting history.”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

The view from the top is very nice and it is a piece of Native American culture that you don;t usually hear about. The informational sign at the bottom includes a small arrow that states, "You are invited to the top." How much more polite does that get? I felt it would be rude to decline the invitation and I am glad I made the easy walk up the paved walkway and then steps to the top. It's a huge mound so kids will love it.

“Great for the family!!”

We were there this past weekend with a family flying a kite. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy this unique Indian Mound.

“Sure, why not?”

This is an interesting and informative stop along the Natchez Trace. Short walk, and a nice little exercise before you get into Natchez if you are coming in from the north...or be sure to not miss it if you are headed up the Trace! And, I agree with previous reviewers: It is inspriring to see what the early inhabitants of the area were able to accomplish with rudimentary tools and MUCH motivation!

“It's What YOU Make out of it!”

A Wonderful "field trip". It was inspiring. Makes you wonder how they did it! Good to See for a fourth grader who just studied the Mississippian and Natchez Indians. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It really does not take more than 30 minutes to visit the mound and walk around the site. It only a short piece off the Natchez Trace Parkway (<1mile?)
