“Worth the Trip out of Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

Take the scenic and peaceful Natchez Trace seven miles out of town and take in this amazing manmade Indian ceremonial site. You'll be amazed at the size and complexity of the mound.

“Big and green!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2012

This is an attraction on the Natchez Trace Parkway and is one of the largest Indian mounds in the USA.
If you are driving the Parkway make the little detour and visit.

“Old mound city”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2012

Visited this when driving the Natchez Trace. Site of old Indian city formed by mounds built to rise above the terrain. Used to hold ceremonies and celebrations as well as games.
