We stayed in the Hampton Inn and they do room service there because it's just around the corner. We chose to eat at the restaurant. We drove past it a couple of times because the sign is small and the building is white and not at all appealing from the outside. However, the food is excellent. My husband and I shared the Seafood Platter adding extra hush puppies. The stuffed shimp was my favorite although it all was good. The slaw was good too. My husband had the crinkle cut fries which he said was good. The drink glasses are a little small but you get free refills. "Jughead" himself came out and asked us how everything was and even told us a story about how he dug out the dining room in the basement with a pick and hauled the dirt out with 5 gallon buckets....incredible! He said it took 2 and 1/2 years to complete it. The upstairs dining room where we ate was very simple, but clean. I only gave a 4 because I would update the decor and freshen up the outside, but the food was GREAT!!!! Very reasonable prices as well.
